Ever wonder why some people supposedly have it all and some are struggling to get it? Why some people seem to have been born with a silver spoon while the rest are cribbing?
Well, to understand this we need to understand the difference between attracting something versus pursuing something.
Let’s say you have an admirer/lover – How would you want him/her to win you over? Pursuit would involve hunting, chasing, stalking, tracking, trailing and going all out to get you and in all probability without your consent. Attracting would on the other hand involve engaging, captivating, charming, enchanting, endearing and winning you over. I am sure most of us would answer that we would like to be attracted to something/someone or attract something/someone towards us rather than be pursued.
When you pursue something, it’s like stalking and you literally scare away the very thing you want because the energy flow you send towards it is negative. The relationship with the thing that you want or desire in this case is hostile and if so how can you be happy even when it comes into your grasp? People who pursue money, fame, happiness or relationships come from poverty consciousness –their inherent belief is that there is not enough for everybody and they have to compete to get what they want. For them life is win-lose game. One has to lose for the other to gain. This does not necessarily have to be the case.
The easier path is to attract what we want in our lives –be it a partner, job, money, success, fame etc. For this we need to come from prosperity consciousness- the inherent belief that there is enough for everybody in this world and that you deserve what you ask for. Prosperity consciousness focuses on the abundance in the world therefore everyone’s bucket gets filled. When one does not operate from the fear of lack, the greater the chances of manifesting what one genuinely desires.
So instead of chasing your dreams you can magnetize your dreams and attract them by visualizing and vibrating at their frequency, feeling charged with your dream at the cellular level –in this state all is possible.
So once in a while it’s a good idea to objectively see your relationship with money, job, fame and happiness. See if you are pursuing them or inviting them into your life.
